Fiona is from Listowel, Co. Kerry and has been working in the thoroughbred industry for over ten years. After finishing school she completed an Equine and Business studies course and then went on to complete the Irish National Stud Course. On graduation Fiona was awarded the ‘John Durkan Scholarship’ on account of her passion for racing.

Fiona spent many years working for prolific National Hunt trainer Gordon Elliott where she did plenty of travelling and also assisted in the busy racing office, some of her highlights during her time there included leading- up 2007 Aintree Grand National winner ‘Silver Birch’ and also riding and training her own horse to victory on the point to point circuit.

Fiona has global knowledge of the industry and spent time working in America, Australia, New Zealand and more recently the UK where she worked as a barn manager for Jamie Osborne. In her spare time she enjoys riding-out, hunting and going racing.
